The 23rd edition of the international AIxIA conference—organized by the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence—will take place in Bolzano from November 25 to 28, 2024. AIxIA 2024 marks over two decades of an event that, while rooted in the Italian AI community, has grown into an international gathering, attracting researchers and experts from around the world. This year’s edition will be hosted by the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
The FAIR Foundation is among the promoters of the event and contributes to the programme with a series of workshops organized by members of its research network. In particular:
- 3rd Workshop on Bias, Risk, Explainability and the Role of Logic and Logic Programming (BEWARE)
Coordinated by Francesca Alessandra Lisi (University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, Spoke 6 and Transversal Project 1) - Green-Aware Artificial Intelligence: Methods and Solutions to Improve AI Sustainability
Coordinated by Dipanwita Thakur, Riccardo Cantini, and Davide Mario Longo (Spoke 9, University of Calabria) - XAI.it 2024 – 5th Italian Workshop on Explainable Artificial Intelligence
Coordinated by Marco Polignano (University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, Spoke 6) - 11th Italian Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AIRO2024)
Coordinated by Fabio Patrizi (Sapienza University of Rome, Spoke 5) and Gloria Beraldo (researcher in Spoke 10 of the FAIR PNRR project), and co-organized with Alberto Finzi and Alberto Castellini - Workshop NL4AI 2024 on Natural Language Artificial Intelligence
