Registrations are now open for the FAIR General Conference 2024, which will take place in Naples on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 September. The venue is the Royal Continental Hotel, located right in front of Castel dell’Ovo, along the seafront.
The General Conference will be the first major gathering for the entire FAIR community since the kick-off meeting held in March 2023 in Pisa, marking a key milestone for the PNRR project, one and a half years after its launch. The conference will bring together in Naples the coordinators of the ten spokes that structure the project, representatives of the 25 partner organizations, and over 500 FAIR researchers, along with companies that are part of the Italian artificial intelligence ecosystem developed by FAIR in recent months.
The two-day event will feature a structured program, still being finalized, presenting the project’s main research results, as well as moments of institutional and cultural discussion on artificial intelligence, open to the public.
The scientific committee working on the program includes:
Marco Conti (National Research Council)
Michela Milano (Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna)
Alessandro Nicolosi (Leonardo S.p.A.)
Dino Pedreschi (University of Pisa)
Concetto Spampinato (University of Catania)
Paolo Traverso (Fondazione Bruno Kessler)
Registrations are open from today at this link.
