The third and final cycle of episodes of “GenIAle” is now available online, the podcast written and hosted by Matteo Bordone (also the voice of the daily podcast Tienimi Bordone) and produced by Il Post in collaboration with FAIR – Future Artificial Intelligence Research. Launched in September 2024, the project was created to explore artificial intelligence in a clear, accessible, and engaging way, drawing on the expertise of FAIR researchers and unfolding across ten dedicated conversations.
After the first three episodes released between September and October 2024 and the following four between November and December, the third cycle—comprising three new episodes—is being released this month, starting today with the first.
The final three episodes
In today’s episode, June 12, titled “Let’s dance!“, Matteo Bordone speaks with Marco Gori, Full Professor of Industrial and Information Engineering at the University of Siena, and Fosca Giannotti, Professor of Computer Science at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. The episode explores emerging perspectives in artificial intelligence that are not yet fully visible but are already taking shape.
On June 19, the ninth episode will be released, “As it should be“, featuring Carlo Casonato, Professor of Comparative Constitutional Law and holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in Artificial Intelligence Law at the University of Trento, and Maria Chiara Carrozza, former President of the CNR and former Minister of Education, University and Research. The episode focuses on the relationship between AI and society, with particular attention to the role of regulation—especially at the European level—in shaping the use of these technologies.
The tenth and final episode will be released on June 26 and is titled “Here and now“. Guests will include Gianluigi Greco, Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Calabria and President of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA), and Giuseppe De Pietro, President of the FAIR Foundation. The discussion will focus on the future of artificial intelligence, exploring realistic scenarios, concrete applications, and long-term perspectives.
