In recent weeks, the results of the selection process for the FAIR cascade calls dedicated to Universities and Research Institutions have been published.
The calls were issued by the ten FAIR Spokes, each based on its own research objectives, with the aim of attracting an increasingly broad range of organizations and high-quality research projects in the field of artificial intelligence into the ecosystem.
At the end of the selection process for the first six spokes, 30 Italian research organizations have been awarded funding, some with multiple projects across different spokes; of these, 10 are located in Southern Italy. The results of the remaining calls, published in late spring, will be announced in the coming weeks.
