An event to showcase innovation and strengthen connections between research and industry in Southern Italy
Bari, October 2025 – Following the first stop in Milan in July, the FAIR ecosystem arrives in Bari with a full day dedicated to dialogue between research, innovation, and industry. The event “FAIR Ecosystem: AI between Research and Industry” will take place on October 20, 2025 at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, bringing together key players from the PNRR-funded FAIR project: companies awarded through cascade calls, researchers from the Central and Southern spokes, and representatives from academia, industry, and institutions.
The programme will open with institutional greetings and an introduction by Giuseppe De Pietro, President of the FAIR Foundation, and Program Manager Marta Rapallini, who will outline the evolution of the FAIR ecosystem. This will be followed by sessions dedicated to projects funded through the cascade calls, presented jointly by companies and researchers from the Southern spokes, with a focus on technology transfer, AI applications, and new opportunities for collaboration between research and industry.
Throughout the day, participating companies will have access to a dedicated exhibition area to showcase their projects and engage directly with the public, as well as with academic and industrial partners.
The initiative will conclude with a networking session, designed to foster new connections and strengthen the FAIR ecosystem.
