{"id":4513,"date":"2024-07-26T18:21:50","date_gmt":"2024-07-26T16:21:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/?p=4513"},"modified":"2026-04-24T14:55:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T12:55:43","slug":"webinar-series-on-ai-act-1-01-videos-now-available-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/news\/webinar-series-on-ai-act-1-01-videos-now-available-online\/","title":{"rendered":"Webinar series on AI Act 1.01: videos now available online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In spring, a <strong>cycle of webinars<\/strong> titled <strong>&#8220;AI Act 1.01&#8221;<\/strong> was held, organized by the BioLaw Lab of Trento for Transversal Project 1 on &#8220;Law and Ethics of AI&#8221; and led by <strong>Carlo Casonato<\/strong>, full professor of comparative constitutional law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, as well as PI of FAIR\u2019s Transversal Project 1.<\/p>\n<p>For those interested in exploring the webinar topics in more depth but who were unable to attend the live sessions, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PL4m_lPJvO4eRgrr2qnZDRM_HOIjULXtk2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the recordings are now available on YouTube<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>What are Transversal Projects?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/transversal-projects\/\">Transversal Projects<\/a> are <strong>dynamic working groups<\/strong> designed to <strong>foster synergies among the different spokes<\/strong> and lay the groundwork for further collaborations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TP1 (Legal and Ethical Design of Trustworthy AI Systems)<\/strong> \u2013 coordinated by Carlo Casonato (University of Trento) together with Giovanni Sartor (University of Bologna) and Adriano Fabris (University of Pisa) \u2013 is a transversal project aimed at providing methodologies and content to <strong>design trustworthy artificial intelligence systems<\/strong>, aligned with ethical and legal values (privacy, fairness, explainability, human oversight) established by the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>The TP involves several spokes within the FAIR network:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spoke 1: <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-1-human-centered-ai\/\"><strong>Human-centered AI<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Spoke 3: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-3-resilient-ai\/\">Resilient AI<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Spoke 4: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-4-adaptive-ai\/\">Adaptive AI<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Spoke 5: <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-5-high-quality-ai\/\"><strong>High quality AI<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Spoke 6: <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-6-symbiotic-ai\/\"><strong>Symbiotic AI<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Spoke 7: <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-7-edge-exascale-ai\/\"><strong>Edge-exascale AI<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Spoke 8: <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/spoke\/spoke-8-pervasive-ai\/\"><strong>Pervasive AI<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/fondazione-fair.it\/en\/transversal-projects\/tp1-legal-and-ethical-design-of-trustworthy-ai-systems\/\"><strong>TP1<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Webinar Series \u2013 AI Act 1.01<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>This is a <a href=\"https:\/\/webmagazine.unitn.it\/ciclo\/giurisprudenza\/119862\/ai-act-101\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>series of online seminars<\/strong><\/a> held from March 22 to April 19, 2024, designed to introduce even non-legal experts to this new regulatory framework and to clarify the basic principles and structure of the regulation.
