An event to showcase how artificial intelligence develops through dialogue between research, industry, and institutions

Milan, June 2025<\/em> \u2013 The FAIR Foundation presents the event \u201cFAIR Ecosystem: AI between Research and Industry\u201d<\/strong>, scheduled for July 14, 2025<\/strong> at the Politecnico di Milano \u2013 Bovisa Durando Campus<\/strong>, Aula Carlo De Carli. A full day dedicated to showcasing the network of collaborations built over the past two and a half years around the FAIR project, supported by cascade calls<\/strong> that have fostered new synergies between research centers, universities, and companies.<\/p>\n

The programme will open with institutional greetings<\/strong>, followed by an introduction from Giuseppe De Pietro<\/strong>, President of the FAIR Foundation. Program Manager Marta Rapallini<\/strong> will present the evolution of the research\u2013industry ecosystem developed within FAIR, followed by a session dedicated to the projects funded through cascade calls across the five spokes represented in Milan (Spokes 2, 4, 7, 8, and 10)<\/strong>, jointly presented by companies and researchers. The morning will conclude with a contribution from the AI Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon<\/strong>, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, a live event in collaboration with ANSA<\/strong> will take place, hosted by journalist and science communicator Alessio Jacona<\/strong> and streamed live on ansa.it<\/strong><\/a>. The talk show will feature panels and interviews with leading figures, including Giuseppe De Pietro<\/strong> (FAIR Foundation), Fabrizio Cobis<\/strong> (Ministry of University and Research, invited), Barbara Caputo<\/strong> (Politecnico di Torino \u2013 Spoke 7 Coordinator), as well as representatives from Bracco, Lutech, and Expert.ai, among others.

Throughout the day, companies funded through the FAIR cascade calls will have dedicated exhibition stands<\/strong> within the event space, where they can present their projects and engage directly with academic, industrial, and institutional partners from the FAIR ecosystem.<\/p>\n

The event will conclude with a networking aperitif<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
