On the other hand, we are becoming increasingly aware of the negative impacts of AI on the planet, due to the growing consumption of resources and energy in current computational infrastructures. The Spoke 9 will conduct fundamental research to define a new generation of artificial intelligence systems and algorithms, in which \u2013 regardless of the specific application domain considered \u2013 the green dimension will be considered \u201cby design\u201d.
